420 Meets Easter: A Day to Reflect on Ritual
Plus the perfect accessory to engage with cannabis all year.
This year, the annual celebration of cannabis culture - 420 - lands on Easter, April 20th—a rare alignment of two deeply symbolic celebrations. One rooted in resurrection, the other in rebellion.
Easter is about rebirth. Renewal. A return to light after a season of darkness.
420, while born as a stoner code among teens in 1970s California, has evolved into a global marker of cannabis culture—a day to reflect on how far we’ve come in destigmatizing the plant, reclaiming wellness rituals, and rewriting history.
Together, they ask:
What are we ready to release? What do we want to reimagine? What rituals bring us back to ourselves?
While I’m spending this 420 at Day 2 of the Oakland Psychedelic Conference + Spirituality & Beyond, I’m reminded that altered states—whether found in nature, spirit, or molecule—are becoming less fringe and more foundational to how we think about healing, creativity, and connection.
So, in the spirit of this beautifully layered weekend, I’m sharing a conversation that highlights just how good cannabis can look and feel in everyday life…
To celebrate, we’ve dropped a brand-new podcast episode featuring the woman behind my favorite bong.
🎧 LISTEN NOW: Designing the Perfect Bong
I sat down with Esther LeNoir Ramirez, founder & CEO of Session Goods, whose modern, design-forward bongs are anything but college relics. We talk about how she’s elevating the smoking experience with minimalist aesthetics, ease of cleaning, and thoughtful design.

Modern cannabis accessories are more than just tools—they’re a reflection of our values, our spaces, and the evolving culture we’re co-creating. And on this 420/Easter mashup weekend, there’s no better time to reflect on what it means to make your rituals your own.
Stay curious,
April
